I'm excitedly awaiting the arrival of the gorgeous new Heidi Kit but in the meantime I'm having so much fun playing with Zoey! Today I have a traveler's notebook spread to share with you about my daughter getting her cute new glasses.
To start off with I printed my journaling onto some plain paper and cut it down to size to fit into my traveler's notebook. I then cut two strips of the bold stripes paper, adhered them down the outer edges of my pages and added some machine stitching.
Next I created my title using the acetate 'hello' speech bubble from the acetate shapes pack, puffy alpha stickers and some stamps from the Hooray and Outline Alphas stamp sets.
Under the title I added my landscape style photo and another stamp…this time from the Zoey stamp set. I stamped the arrow onto some plain white cardstock, cut it out and attached it with my tiny attacher.
For my second page I adhered the portrait photo above the journaling, stamped a phrase from the Zoey stamp set above it, then added a little embellishment cluster.
To finish it off I added more stamping at the bottom with a little heart that I punched from one of the branding strips.
I love how this fun spread turned out…another memory captured for my daughter's notebook.
I've also filmed a video if you'd like to watch my process…
I hope I've inspired you with a few ideas for your next project!
