Hello World Newborn Mini Album | Ulrike Dold

Ulli here with you today sharing a newborn mini album with the gorgeous Hannah Kit. I made a accordion Mini album with tags. Therefor I used a cut file which I found in the Silhouette store and I love how it turned out. I love to use these kind of cut files. When my cutting machine makes me the the frame of a mini album I have more time to decorate it later. And that’s the fun part for me. What do you love the most when you make a mini album?

I used the super pretty patterns from the Hannah kit for this album. I made the cover with the wonderful blue Diamonds & Stripes paper and for the inside I used the two solid cardstocks from the kit to keep the inside simple. The tags and little papers from the inside are also from the Hannah Kit (Scallops and Tiles, Woodgrain & Scales, Diagonal & Window Panes, Floral & Dot). When I searched for photos to fill this mini book I found the newborn pictures from our son from May and June 2016. 

The Hannah Kit with its blush, blue and brown colors matches not only for girly projects and I love how versatile the papers and embellishments are. For the cover I used a woodgrain tag, some black bakers twin, a Zoey mini tag and the super cute Puffy Mini Alphabet Stickers from the Lola kit. I set an eyelet in the same color from the hole at the blue dotted tag from the Hannah Die Cut Shapes. If I had to decide which embellishment I love the most from the Hannah Kit I would answered the Tulle Bows! They are so cute and unique and so I used one of them to decorate the cover photo from the inside. 

I always love how all the previous Felicity Jane kits matches perfectly to new FJ products and so I could add some more embellishments to decorate the mini album. The super cute mini clips in rose gold are so perfect for this kit too. With little ribbons I add some other texture to this mini and I love the playful look. Often I used a stapler to fix ribbons or little embellishments in my album.

The Hannah Epoxy Stickers, especially the hearts, where also perfect for such a special album with cute baby photos. I also add some black and white Brie chipboard flairs here and there and used some of the Henley Epoxy Dots. I adore the Rose gold glitter accents from the wonderful Hannah Die Cut shapes and so I used the „Today“ tag and the little tag from the Hannah Die Cut Shapes to decorate two pages. I always have fun mixing different alphabet stickers and so I used also the Puffy essential Alphabet stickers in white and pink and the Lola Mini Puffy Alphabets additional to the Hannah Epoxy Alphabet Stickers. The mini and essential puffy alphabet stickers have the perfect size for small projects like this little album. 

I stamped the floral stamp from the Hannah kit on white cardstock and cut it out with my scissor to make my own die cut and glued it behind a Hannah Journaling card which I cut a little bit smaller before. Journaling cards always have a little smaller pattern as the big 12x12 papers and so they matches perfectly to smaller projects. To add some more accents I used not only the Hannah Washi Tape. I used also the Mila Washi Tape with the rose gold hearts and the essential washi tape with the stripes. 

I wrote only a little journaling to the photos and I printed it on white paper and some vellum. I used different techniques to add the journaling to the photos. 

At the end I finished off my album with some sequins and some of the mini puffy shapes from the previous Zoey Kit.
