Hello Friends! Can I just tell you how excited I am to share a fun project I made using the Caroline Kit?! Okay, I'll tell you - VERY EXCITED!!!
So since I don't make 12x12 layouts very often, I don't go through my patterned papers quickly. I decided that I needed to find a way to make the most of them.
I remembered that I had a few frames I decorated with for Christmas and thought maybe these fun papers would be the spring touch these photos needed!
With the frames emptied and cleaned, I chose papers and embellishments that coordinated with my current family room colors from the Caroline Kit.
Then I decided which photos I wanted to use.
I needed some yellow for a pop of color so I traced the striped tag and made my own with a scrap yellow patterned paper from an older kit.
Then I grabbed the Alphas from Caroline because I wanted to add some letters to one of the frames and the color matched perfectly.
What I ended up with were 4 gorgeous frames of the people I love and pretty paper! Since some embellishments are thick (like the rubber charms and the flair), I added those to the outside of the frame using glue dots. I am not sure how well they hold up yet but it's been over a week and they're still hangin' on!
So now you have a fun way to use some of your patterned paper you've been hoarding. Imagine being able to gaze around your house and enjoy all the pretty papers that are currently just sitting in a drawer.
Have you ever used scrapbook paper in a fun and different way? I'd love to know!
Okay friends, that's all from me and I'll see you soon!

Love how these came out, so great! The white frames are perfect for these papers. I am going to try this! I have used scrapbook paper to line envelope flaps for cards and to cover old cardboard boxes I use for storing scrap pieces of paper.
Wow! Gorgeous xx
