Hi Felicity Jane friends, it's Ulli here again with my 2nd project with the pretty Jeana Kit. Do you love this kit as much as I do? When I work with these beautiful papers and embellishments it's amazing how easy and quick my layouts come together.
This week´s theme on the Felicity Jane Blog is Alphabets and as you probably know… I love mixing different alphabet stickers in my titles. And so the idea was born for a big picture layout with a banner and a big title with many different FJ alphabet stickers on it.
First I cut out a floral banner with my Silhouette Cameo. Then, I added my black and white photo sized to 12 x 6.75" on the top of a big paper strip from the Jeana "Spots & Stripes" patterned paper, so I had a 12 x12 layout. This is a family photo of us from a little photo shoot at Mallorca/Spain and it was waiting for the perfect papers and embellishments.
I backed the banner with the fresh mint green solid paper from the Jeana Kit and I love how it turned out. The solid paper was the perfect background for a mix of different alphabets in different colors and with different textures. I added the title "Home is wherever I'm with you" on the mint banner and for that I've used the Puffy Word Sticker "Home" from the Jeana Kit, the grey Jeana Chipboard Alphabet, the black Essentials Puffy Alphabet, the blush Willow Alphabet Stickers, the gold glitter foam letters from the Kate Kit and the Reagan Chipboard Alphabet.
Then I fussy cut some of the super pretty flowers from the Jeana Kit - probably they are my favorite part of this kit - and glued some of them on the border of the banner and a little bit under some of the alphabet stickers. I splattered some gold paint across the patterned paper under my photo.
Then I added my banner with foam squares on the border of my photo. I added two of the super pretty white flocked stickers under my banner and decorated it with some Chipboard Hearts from the Jeana Kit and two of the wonderful Jeana Puffy Stickers (Flower + House). To make the transition from the photo to the patterned paper softer, I cut the puffy scalloped banner from the Jeana Kit in two pieces and glued it on the visible parts of the photo border.
For the date I used a tag from the Jeana Die Cut Shapes and stamped the date with a roller date stamp on it. I attached black bakers twine and added it on the top of the banner under some flowers and the word "Home". I made three fans with the Brooke Crepe Ruffle Trim in white and added them under the flowers from the banner.
Then I folded the right edge on the bottom of the layout and fixed it with my stapler. I glued a little paper from the Bold Stripe & Speckles paper under it.
After that I glued a heart on the banner and added one of those super cute tassel bows in the color blush on the right side. I wrote by hand the place where the picture was taken under the banner and stamped some of the tiny hearts and the phrase "Right Where I Belong" with black ink on my layout. Then I added the white clip from the Brooke Crepe packaging on the banner.
I hope I could inspire you to play along with all these pretty Felicity Jane Alphabet Stickers.
Have a nice weekend! Until the next time,
Ulli
