Hi everyone!
It's Sheree and today I have a new traveler’s notebook spread to share with you featuring the gorgeous Aspen Kit!
I’m loving everything about this kit. The colours, the patterns, the die cuts and stickers are just so sweet! I loved that the die cuts and stickers in particular included cute images of things that I love such as plants, books, little houses and flowers so I wanted to use as many of them as I could on this project. I decided to create a little stacked display (almost like a wall display) across the two pages.
I cut my background cardstock to 4.75 x 8.25 inches, and added a ¼ inch strip of the green spotty paper down the outside edge of each. Then I set about arranging all my elements onto the pages.
Across the bottom of each page arrangement I used piece of scalloped strip from the solid green cardstock. Then on the first page, I added my photo behind the larger mustard die cut frame and added a floral sticker with foam adhesive for dimension along with a “happy” puffy sticker from the Grace Kit. Above the frame I added two houses, the stack of books and the little branch from the sticker sheet with foam tape behind of one of the houses and the books. There is also a little chipboard heart.
For the date I used the smaller frame and stamped the month and year with the Aspen Stamp Set. The solid coloured circle stamp is also included in this stamp set which made it so easy to add a little colour. I adhered a small floral sticker to the side of the frame with foam tape and a chipboard bow from the Gabby Kit on top.
At the top of the second page is the cute plant sticker with foam adhesive and another little house. I also added a chipboard heart there too. The remaining die cut frame is underneath and holds my list of some of the things I enjoy being at home and there is another floral sticker on the side with foam adhesive.
At the bottom of this page is the blue gingham die cut tag. I stitched around the edge, added twine then created a little cluster with the cute chair die cut, the chipboard “homebody” word and a chipboard heart. I also added stitching all around the page for added texture.
I punched holes into each page so I could slip it into my Bella TN Album. I love how this spread turned out!
I hope I’ve inspired you to think about creating a project about the little things you enjoy about being at home with the lovely Aspen Kit.
Thank you for joining me on the blog today!
