Hope TN Spread │ Lydia CostJun 02, 2020
Hello there again, friends! Today I’m sharing a peek inside my TN notebook, which is getting rather chunky as of late. The Hope collection has such pretty subdued pastel colors, that it is so easy to combine them all together. I’m excited to be able seamlessly mix it with Katherine this month!
For this TN spread I chose to cut a strip of teal paper on the right hand side, and then I tucked in a bunch of fun die-cut pieces and sentiments. I tucked in labels, tags, ephemera, and I even left space for some journaling alongside too. I then stitched down the strip of paper, so that they were secured along the edge of the paper to pop up a bit.
I then aligned my title amongst the other die-cut pieces by popping it up with some dimension. I think it blended so beautifully with the other die-cut pieces. To finish up this side of my spread, I stamped on an area to journal, and then hand wrote out my little notes about my day at the riverfront with my cutie.
On the left hand side of my spread, I knew I’d position my photo. I began by aligning a piece of patterned paper in the yellow stripe on the edge. I then stitched it down to mirror what I had done on the other side. I then layered on a scrap piece of a book page, some gold glitter ribbon, tissue paper, and my photo. I really wanted to build up the dimension under my photo for even more interest.
To finish off the photo side of my spread, I added that pretty little teal bow below my photo. This was such a simple spread, but it was such a relaxing time creating it. I always love how simple and therapeutic a good TN spread can be. I especially love that they are compact enough to slide into your purse and document on the run. They really are a universal necessity for Memorykeeping!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you all have an amazing week ahead!
