Hi everyone,
Ulli here with you today and I have a new project with the gorgeous Jill collection for you! I made a mini book with photos from a photo shooting for our daughters 4rd birthday. When I saw the Jill collection the first time I knew that these photos would be perfect for these wonderful papers and embellishments. The colors with its mustard, pink, grey and fresh green matches perfectly to them.
This mini book has the size 4.5 x 4.5 inch and I made the cover with three cardboard pieces and upholstered them with the cute Floral & Dots paper. I used bookbinder linen in black to hold the three parts from this cover together. I decorated the cover page with a round little photo and some of the wonderful Jill Die Cut Shapes and the „So loved“ mini chipboard button from this months collection.
The inside is a accordion mini in the size 4x4 inch. I played with all the wonderful patterned papers from the Jill collection and mixed it with the FJ Essentials White Cardstock. I played with some circle and heart dies and my die cutting machine to get some cute effects. I love the first look in the inside of this mini, because there I framed a photo with the wonderful floral Jill paper and many sequins in the same color combination like the Jill kit.
I love the uplifting quotes from the Jill collection so much and they where perfect for the photos from our little girl. And the adorable leo pattern is so perfect for these words too! I played in this mini also with the super cute tags, which you can fin in the wonderful Jill Die Cut Shapes. I also cut two photos in the shape of tags and they find a place in a little pocket in this mini book. I played in this mini album with different Felicity Jane alphabets too. All FJ Alphabets are so versatile and you can mix them so easy together!
The Jill Designer Vellum is such a great item in this kit and I used the striped one in pink to lay it above a photo. With the pretty flowers from the stamp set you can make your own wonderful die cut shapes and they look gorgeous on your projects! The flocked „Bloom" sticker is a leftover from the previous Jeana kit and it was perfect to decorate this wonderful vellum page in my mini album.
For the next page I cut out a heart and backed it with the adorable pink Flowers & Hearts paper. The cute Acetate Shapes are pretty eye-catchers on every project and behind this photo there are more hidden tags included. I added the date from the shooting with the wonderful white Jill Puffy Alphabet Stickers on the Jill Gingham tag and glued my journaling on a white tag. The little tag with the flower and the Gingham circle with the heart are from the Jill Chipboard Bits & Bobs. These little embellishments are so special and super cute!
On this page I also used some Alphabet Stickers from previous Felicity Jane Kit. The pink letters from the Amber Puffy Alphabet look perfect together with the Jill kit. Here I played a little bit with a thin stripe from the Jill Designer Vellum and I love how it turned out.
On the last page I worked with my many circles. I backed the side with a punched circle with a photo and decorated it with different Felicity Jane embellishments. On the other side I glued two photos in circle shapes on the Jill Lines & Triangles paper. I played with the wonderful Jill stamp set and the pretty white Puffy Alphabet to add more uplifting words on this page. I love the photo from our little girl while she takes a picture with her new camera and the Jill stamp „Focus on the good“ could not match any better.
I punched two little holes in the front and the back of my cover to close my mini book with a linen ribbon. On this ribbon I attached a little charm, which I made with black bakers twin, a pink die cut leave from the Amber kit, two of the Joy Mini Tassels and two of the wonderful Jill Chipboard Mini Tags. I glued two letters with the Felicity Jane Mini Puffy Alphabets in white and black on these tiny tags and I love these little details on my mini album.
