Hi FJ friends!
Today I want to show you some of my pocket pages which I’ve made with the gorgeous Aspen collection. I began to document the January 2022 in my 6x8 pocket page album and it was so much fun to work with the Aspen journaling cards and embellishments. They were matching perfectly to my pictures of our January adventures.
I began my first page with a pocket which had two 3x4 cards and one 4x6 card. I’ve used the cute January journaling card and decorated it with the chipboard heart stickers in the same colors. I added them from the left side on the bottom to the right side of the top of this cute striped card. At the right side I added a picture from my kids and used a circle punch of 1.5 inches and punched a semi circle into the top. Then I added the journaling card with the pinkish lines under it. I punched a hole into it and set a mustard colored eyelet there. Later I’ve written the complete January journaling on this card. On the top I knotted an aqua colored ribbon.
For the 4x6 card I used the FJ Essentials Cardstock and cut it to 4x6 inches. Then I’ve punched five small pictures with the circle punch of 1.5 inches and one from the floral Aspen paper and added the six circles in two rows on the card. I decorated the complete page with the super cute Aspen Cardstock Stickers. They are too cute! Then I stamped the date with the FJ date roller stamp under the circles from the 4x6 card.
For the second page I’ve added a 3x4 picture on the left side on the top. I added with black pen the place were the picture was taken around the penguin on the picture and I love the lovely effect. Then I decorated this picture with the Aspen die cut photo corner. On the right side I added the Aspen journaling card with the striped border and added a small picture on it. I added the Chipboard Bit "Family" on the top and used the FJ Roller Date Stamp to add the date under the picture. Then I’ve decorated it with the bow sticker from the Aspen Sticker sheet.
For the big 4x6 card I framed a picture from a mini crop with a friend in the yellow frame die cut. Then I’ve added the cardstock fringes on the right side and cut them on the right side on the border of the card. I decorated the cardstock fringes with the chipboard heart stickers in the matching colors. I used a label from the Aspen die cuts and added there "0711" (the zip code from Stuttgart) with the black Aspen Puffy Alphabet Stickers. Then I’ve printed the words "Mini Crop" and cut a small paper strip. I glued it under the the zip code and had my title. I added the Chipboard Bit "Friends" under the picture and added the date with the roller date stamp there. Then I’ve decorated it with the cute house stickers and the wonderful chipboard flower in pink and green.
For the 3rd page I’ve used a printed quote on a pinkish background and cut it to 3x4 inches. Then I´ve filled it into the pocket on the left side on the top. I cut a picture to 3x4 inches for the right side on the top. I’ve used the FJ "Love" cut file and cut the word from white cardstock with my electronic die cutting machine. It was a little bit to big for my picture. But then I had the idea to glue it a little bit angular on the picture and to cut the overlapping parts with my scissors. I really love the playful look. I also added three Chipboard Heart Stickers in pink in a row on the bottom of the picture.
Then I cut a 3x4 journaling card from white cardstock and added a picture of me in Stuttgart on it. I added the Chipboard Bit "My Happy Place" on the bottom of the picture and glued the word "Me" with the black puffy alphabet over it. Then I stamped the date on the left side and added the green cute speech bubble with the heart on the top. I’ve filled the right pocket on the bottom with the cute green Aspen journaling card with the pinkish label and added the pot plant sticker from the Aspen sticker sheet with 3 D dots on the label. I love the playful and simple look.
For the 4th page I’ve added the cute Aspen card with the garlands on the right page on the bottom and the "Love This" card on the left side on the bottom. I cut two 3x4 journaling cards from white cardstock for the pockets on the top and added pictures there. The first one I decorated with the green label sticker which is an arrow. I printed the place were the picture was taken "Stuttgart City" and added it as a small paper strip on the label. Then I added chipboard heart stickers in yellow there and two of the cute flower cardstock stickers. On the right side I added a squared picture with donuts and the dark blue label on the top. I punched a hole into the picture before and added one of these tiny Aspen chipboard tags with a ribbon bow there.
I fixed a pink mini wide paper clip on a picture of my son while eating a donut and glued it on the "Love This" card. Then I added five of the tiny hearts from the Aspen Puffy Alphabet on the bottom of the picture too. I cut the "Home" die cut from the Aspen collection into two pieces and glued them under it on the garland card. I also added in the "o" of the word home a pink heart chipboard sticker.
When I finished the pages I wrote the journaling by hand on the hidden journaling card from the first page.
I hope you like my pocket pages with the Aspen collection and you feel inspired to make some pocket pages with the gorgeous Aspen journaling cards and the cute Aspen embellishments.
Have a wonderful week!
xx Ulli
