Journal Challenge - A Day In the Life and Father's Day | Sheree Forcier

Hello FJ friends!

Have you been playing along with the Felicity Jane 30 Day Journal Challenge?  I have and I’m finding it so fun!  Today I’d like to share with you the first two journal pages that I’ve completed so far.

I’m using a few different sources of inspiration for my pages this month including the FJ Journal Challenge prompt list, the Lola Stamp Set and other Felicity Jane stamp sets from my stash.  While I’m using these for most days, I’m also just going with whatever may have happened that particular day that I feel like writing about so my journaling this month will be a real mix of topics.  I decided to start my journal from September 1, however you can start whenever you like if you want to join in! 

My topic for day one was kept quite simple with a list of what was on the agenda for that day.  I used a strip of pink Stitches Lola Kit paper across the top, my printed journaling was machine stitched into the center of the page and I added some stamping above.  The title stamp was from the Zoey Stamp Set, then I used the Kate Stamp Set for the day along with the new FJ Roller Date Stamp.

To finish this page I then added a Lola floral die cut and heart, then stapled some Brie Kit layering butterflies into place.  

Day two was Father’s Day!  

I printed the journaling onto white paper, backed it with the pretty blue Lola Kit Gingham Paper and added some machine stitching.  Just as I did for day one, I stamped the day and date above the journaling, then added the photo with a Lola Kit ‘happy’ die cut and the mini puffy alphabet stickers.  

A little yellow puffy star from the Brooke Kit was then adhered under the journaling as a finishing touch.
