Today I’m focusing on the gorgeous festive Joy Stamp Set! Are you documenting your December this year? I’m looking forward to it (even though I still haven’t finished last year’s album…oops!) and I love having a collection of journaling and filler cards on hand when I’m ready to create my pages.
I’ve got two sets of cards to share with you today…
For the first set I used a combination of green ink and gold embossing powder with the stamp set.
I used the tree stamp to create two of the cards with green ink then used the triple dot stamp and embossing powder to create the baubles on a couple of them. The same gold embossing powder was used to transform the tiny wood stars.
I used some of the word stamps and made more little embossed gold stars for other cards too.
For the second set of cards I wanted to use my favourite diagonal red striped paper from the Joy Kit and some of the red & white polka dot paper along with the stamps, some flair, a gold star clip and a tiny wood veneer tree.
I used the embossing technique on the tiny tree with some glitter embossing powder to use on this simple card along with ‘the story’ stamp
The rest of the cards were a mix of stamps, paper pieces, flair and the little gold star clip.
In my process video below you’ll get a closer look at each card and how I embossed with stamps and wood veneer pieces.
I hope I’ve inspired you to get creative with your stamps to make your own filler cards too. See you again soon!
