June Pocket Page | Desiree Lamar

Hello crafty friends! Today, I wanted to share a pocket page layout with you in my Coco 6x8 album. To record the first week in June, I used the June collection. I thought the colors from our weekend pictures coordinated so well with the reds and oranges from this collection.

To start this spread I gathered the June journaling cards. In addition, I grabbed the Ditsy Floral and Bold patterned paper and cut those down to 3x4 journaling cards. Once I realized the Elizabeth collection matched so well, I grabbed the star journaling card from that kit.

Next, I started to embellish my cards. I used the ticket, floral die cut, and June stamp to make my monthly card. For my other journaling cards and pictures, I used more label die cuts, puffy stickers, and chipboard heart bits. I love how the red June monthly card and the bold striped “here comes the sun” cards came out. They are my favorites in this spread.

To add a little more interest to my spread, I minimized two of my photos and backed them with journaling cards. Then, I cut down the rainbow strip die cut and used them as faux washi strips to adhere my pictures to my cards.

Then, I used the beautiful, pale blue puffy alphas to add the words “us” and “love” to my die cut labels. I used the today card to record my journaling from the weekend. I love that the Felicity Jane journaling cards always have a spot to record your memories. As usual, I completed my layout by sprinkling epoxy dots on my cards.

As always, it was so much fun creating with you. Thank you so much for joining me today!

xo, Desiree
