Hello FJ fans,
It is Friday the 13th and I have another bit of inspiration for you! This time last year we visited Madrid in Spain and I have finally finished the little notebook. It is full of journaling and photos. It is very simple and also embellished very simply but effectively by ... LABELS!
Who wouldn't love labels, right! They come in different sizes and a wide variety of colours that match every kit! And they are super easy to use!
I made this album last year to document our trip to Madrid. I did just the journaling and now I added the photos or some leaflets. I love using those in journaling books. Folded there is a plan of the ZOO to give us a reminder of the animals we met there. It is impossible to take a picture of every single one. The map is held in place by the miniwide paper clip.
Here I created a little pocket from the pattern paper. I attached the paper to the white page only at three sides leaving the fourth one open for some underground tickets.
Atocha Renfe. This is the prettiest train station I have ever seen. Wonderful botanical paradise. I usually cut the labels in half to save them for another project.
Another photo is from the Plaza Mayor which is the most beautiful square in Spain. Here I added the second half of the previous label.
Apart from the labels I also used all my epoxy stickers from the Taylor kit. They are not thick and give a nice detail.
As you can see you don't have to use labels only for journaling. They are perfect for embellishing as well! Have a lovely weekend!
Jana
