Life Layout | Leigh Ann Odynski

Hello crafty friends! Leigh here, with another travel layout inspired by the frames in the Henley Kit. I used the die cut frames in the kit to highlight the window frame around my mom in the photo. The soft blush and coral colors in this kit are just delicious!

The solid blush color card stock from the kit created a border that I piled and layered all the elements on the page around. Notice that the 3x4 blush striped journal card created a bridge between both sides of the border. I then tucked all the die cuts and punched leafy bits in around the frames. The blush pom-pom trim was added last after all the other elements were in place.

Above, you can see how I layered the die cut frames under the photo, and how they reinforce the window frame in the photo. I liked that the photo had the soft blush color and some neutral black and white tones. How do you like to connect your page elements with your photo?

The Henley Kit florals added a lot of feminine softness to the straight edges of the frame die cuts, and they brought an organic feel to the page. I added the punched leafy bits around the florals to bring more texture to the layout. The soft colors of the epoxy dots were perfect to add a shiny bit of circular shape elements to the page.

The Henley Kit stamps were inked in a soft coral color to coordinate with the florals, and highlight a few of the sentiments I felt about the photo. A companion page will be included in my album to house the journaling and private story about this trip. I also stamped on the label die cut with black ink to finish out the title on the page.

Thank you for visiting today, and happy creating!

Leigh
