Hi there! Ulli here with you today with a fun layout using the gorgeous Henley kit.
When I saw the PL card with the text "Living Right Out Loud" I had to think directly on a photo from my little son with his beloved stuffed dog. Our little son has always such a light in his eyes and he is so full of vitality.
To document this picture I cut the circle with the title and so I got the idea to use more circle elements on my page. There are also some circles on the washi sticker sheets and some round die cut shapes with hearts in the Henley kit. I punched also some circles with the pretty Henley papers in different sizes.
I framed the photo with the striped frame from the Henley die cut shapes. Then I cut some paper strips. I often do designs with paper strips on the top and/or the bottom of my scrapbooking layouts. Here I´ve used the beautiful "Leaves and Scallop" patterned paper and glued them on the bottom and the top of the layout. I stitched over the borders of the scalloped paper with my sewing machine.
Then I added the photo and I used the super cute peach mini pom trim to decorate the left side of the frame. I also stitched over this part with my sewing machine.
I arranged the different circles around the photo and used pop dots to add some dimension. I also added the beautiful washi rose sticker in peach under the right side of my frame. Isn’t this rose gorgeous!?
Then I typed the journaling with my typewriter on a piece of vellum and fixed it with a the sweet gold paper clip on a Henley tab. I also stitched over it to make sure the vellum piece would not to get out of place.
I added the words "20 Months" as a second title with two sorts of alphabet stickers, the essential puffy alphabet and the Henley gold foil alphabet, on the top of the frame. Then I stamped some hearts and the cute phrases from the Henley stamp set on my layout and the date when the photo was taken.
I also used the lovely wood veneer shapes from the Henley kit to bring more textures to this page. The wooden circle with the arrow was perfect as another circle element around my photo. And I had to use this super cute "Lovable" banner to decorate the bottom of the frame. It matches perfectly to this cute photo of my little boy.
To finish off my layout and to give the page more playfulness I glued some of the fantastic epoxy dots here and there.
I hope you have as much fun playing with the amazing Henley kit as I did!
