Lockdown Lists A5 Notebook | Danielle Menage-Jensen

I’m back again with another project for you. This week, I’m all about LISTS and wanted to pop a few of them in an A5 notebook spread.
Because I’m a tad obsessed with the Katherine kit, I was super desperate to include a bit of everything into this spread – and boooy did I do that! :-)
Since I’ve been in lockdown, I’ve found that I’ve been passing the time by writing daily lists. Sometimes they’re gratitude lists, sometimes they're shopping lists and sometimes they’re just silly lists of current favourites. It’s worked wonders for my anxious brain and I can’t recommend it enough if you’re feeling a bit out-of-control or jittery.
For this spread, I decided to use the yummy alphas to create my title ‘lockdown lists’. I also used one of the cute die cut tags and some of the sticky labels to jazz up my title.
Because this spread was going to be busy, I chose the spots paper as it was mostly white so kept the background subtle. I added the matching spots vellum frame on the right page and created a vellum pocket on the left page – that helped to create balance between the pages.
I ran two cute journal cards through my typewriter and created two lists on them – one of favourite foods/drinks and one of things to be grateful for. They tucked nicely into my vellum pocket. In the vellum frame, I created another list of ‘current’ faves and used the Katherine stamp set for my titles e.g. watching, reading, loving. I cut a tiny triangle out of the stripes paper and added it to the top of the frame so it looked like a cute house.
My final list was added to the top of the right page and I printed out some songs on cardstock then glued them onto the page and used the numbers from the alpha stickers to list my top 3.
I’m really pleased with how this fun spread turned out and I hope it encourages you to create some cute lists in your own notebook or TN.
