Love Always Layout with the Lindsey Kit | Lorilei Murphy
So many exciting possibilities arrived with the Lindsey kit this month from Felicity Jane! The metal die set is so cool and really expands the use of the stamp set and papers. There are some lovely sentiments on the stamp set, and I was excited to dive into the collection!
I knew at some point I would want to make a love themed layout (how could I not?) so I cut out a large love title on my Silhouette from an 8.5x11 white background. I added a creamy white paper behind the cutout and then added parts of the cut file back to the page. Having the title pre-cut defined the design of the page and where I could embellish.
I picked two photos and printed them out in black & white at 3"x3". The spot above the title was the perfect place, so I added a tag and doily for some texture. To jazz up the photo area a bit I made a tab with the xoxoxo stamp and tucked a scrap of red paper under the right photo. I made a big red bow from the plain cardstock included in the Lindsey Paper Pack and added it above the photo over a strip of the striped paper. I LOVE the Felicity Jane cut files for bows! They add such a pop of cuteness to a page!
In keeping with my black, white and red color scheme I added the red foam flower between the v & e. It created a little spot and the always die cut fit there perfectly. I added a strip of journaling and a last minute addition was the strip of striped paper at the bottom. I scattered some little red hearts around the cluster areas to finish off the page!
I love to make white on white layouts with pops of color. I do spend more time on these layouts as it seems you end up being more thoughtful about what you choose to add! I am not generally a person of restraint, but I love the challenge this type of layout presents!!
Thank you for joining me today! I hope you are having fun with your Lindsey kit!!
