Hi friends, Leigh here, with a new layout using the Alexis Digital Kit.
I am so excited about the monthly Digital Kits available at Felicity Jane now, that I wanted to create an entire layout using the Alexis Digital Kit only. You can start creating on the first of every month when the new kit is revealed by grabbing the digital kit and printing it.
I printed six of the digital patterned papers on one 8.5x11 sheet, and printed Pattern 12 to use as my background. Paper 12 served as my journaling on the layout with all of the positive and encouraging words on the design.
I trimmed the different patterned papers apart so that I could punch stars, hearts, and butterflies from each one. The photo is layered over the row of punched hearts on the page.
Using light pink crochet thread, I stapled, glued and stitched all the shaped to three different threads. The digital ephemera from the kit was a easy way to add more dimension by layering them on top of the punched shapes.
The Love Notes Stamp had plenty of sentiments and phrases about love, so I used it for my title and fussy cut it. The sub titles on the page are also from the stamp set. I splattered some ink and stamped hearts around the areas of splatter, and added some of the Essential Puffy Stickers in those spots as well.
The patterns were stitched and adhered to the bottom of the layout to bring the black and white and pattern to that area to ground it. The row of hearts was adhered on top of the strips of pattern, and the other two threads were were adhered underneath the patterned strips.
