Love | Mandy Melville

Hi everyone!

Mandy here with you today to share a layout that I created using the stunning Kate kit! I'm in love with the gorgeous colors and the beautiful florals in this kit!

I documented a lovely photo of my sister with my youngest daughter. It makes me so happy to see how much they love one another, and I adore this photo of them together because I think it really captures their relationship well.

I used the pretty light pink patterned paper with the tiny dots on it for the background for this layout. I think this adds a nice softness to the layout! I also added a scallop branding strip off one of the solid colored papers to the bottom edge of the layout. I love scallops, so these branding strips are always a favorite of mine!

As soon as I saw that beautiful floral patterned paper, I knew that I wanted to fussy cut it! The florals are just so pretty and delicate, and they were perfect for embellishing around my photo!

I layered two of the journaling cards together and then tucked them under the left hand side of the photo. If you don't do pocket pages, then this is a great way of using these cards! You can also see here that I added one of the little die cut banners from the kit to the top left hand corner of the photo.

How stunning are the gold glitter alphabet stickers that are in the Kate kit?! I think I'm going to need more of these! I love the elegance that they add to the page!

I added my typed journaling to the layout, and then I finished it off with a few of the epoxy hearts, and a couple of the little word stickers. These little details just help to make the layout look complete.
