Love Note TN Spread | Leigh Ann Odynski

Hello FJ friends! Leigh here, to share a travel journal page using the Love Note Papers and Stamp set. I was inspired by all the black and white patterns on the 6x6 papers, and decided to punch them into different sized hearts.

You can see the black background paper under the punched hearts, and the rows of stitching on each punched piece. I simply adhered all my punched bits, and stitched on the black paper before adhering it onto the travel journal page. TIP: If you have a previously decorated page behind a page you are working on, you can always stamp on a scrap piece and cut out the image for a better impression.

The Love Note Stamp set has the perfect sentiments and heart images to capture moments with those you love. I stamped with a stamp pad under the TN page, so that I could get an even impression from the stamp and it worked quite well. I find Felicity Jane stamps make it very easy to get perfect stamp impressions every time.

I added a Kate Epoxy Heart in the buffalo check pattern to match my daughter's shirt, and the stamped row of "XO" to underline the photo. I wrote my journaling on a separate paper and adhered it under the stamping and photo. If you look on the coffee photo, you can see a Zoey Kit paper I stamped with the Love Note set and punched in a heart shape. This brings a little bit of the pink and red to that side of the layout.
