Hello everyone!
Mandy here on the blog today, and I have a layout to share with you that I created using the ever-so-pretty 'Jaimee' kit! I wanted to document this super cute photo that I took of my youngest daughter and nephew recently. They are so sweet together, and just adore one another so much! I love their cheeky smiles in this photo!
I started my layout off with a sheet of white cardstock, and I added a couple of strips of patterned paper down the left hand side of the page. I chose the green striped paper, as well as the scalloped branding strip off one of the solid color papers in the kit. I also added a strip of the 'Amber' washi tape, which I think just adds a little more detail. Next I got to work layering die cuts around my photo. I couldn't resist using those gorgeous floral die cuts from the Jaimee collection! I've also pulled out a few die cuts from previous FJ kits to use on this layout, including a tag from the Brooke kit, and a die cut word from the Reagan kit..
You can see here how I used foam tape to give the photo cluster lots of dimension and interest.
I love combining different fonts to create my title, so for this layout I decided to pull in some alphabet stickers from previous kits. I used the Caroline chipboard alphabet stickers, along with the number '2' from the Zoey Chipboard numbers, and of course the gorgeous Jaimee Puffy Alphabet stickers. I love how bold and fun the title looks! Underneath the title I added my typed journaling strips.
I finished the layout off with a sprinkling of smaller embellishments including some Jaimee puffy heart stickers, Emeline wood hearts, Chloe puffy stickers, and the little 'family' word from the Autumn silicone charms pack.
I had so much fun creating this layout, and I'm so happy with how it turned out! I hope that you've enjoyed creating with the 'Jaimee' kit as much as I have this month!
