Hi friends!
Mandy here with you today to share a new traveler's notebook layout that I created using the beautiful Hannah kit! I documented a cute photo of my youngest daughter Eleanor with my nephew Charlie. They were so sweet sitting on the lounge drinking their milk together, and I'm so glad that I captured this moment. Sometimes it's those little everyday moments that are the most precious!
I started my layout off by trimming down a few of the patterned papers from the Hannah collection, and I layered them together to create a photo mat. I used a black journaling pen to add a hand-drawn border around each of the papers to give them some more definition. I also matted my photo with one of the solid color papers from the kit, as this just helps it to stand out from those patterned papers a little more.
On the right hand side of the photo I created a little embellishment cluster using a couple of the die cuts from the collection. There was some negative space on this side of the photo so I was able to position them over the edge of the photo without them interfering with the main subjects.
I created another cluster up in the top left hand corner of the layout which helps to balance out the photo and smaller cluster on the right. It also gives the layout a diagonal flow as your eye is drawn from the top left down to the bottom right. This cluster includes a few more of the die cuts from the kit, as well as one of the labels from the label book.
I finished the layout off by adding some typed journaling, and I also added a few of the cute little epoxy hearts to the page.
Thanks so much for joining me here today! I'll be back later in the month to share some more inspiration with you!
