Hi FJ friends!
I hope you are all healthy and fine! Today I am up here at the FJ blog with another Mix It Monday project: I’ve made a 12x12 page in yellow, green, teal and mint. I’ve made it with the gorgeous Gabby collection and some bits & pieces from the Taylor collection and some other previous FJ collections. I was totally inspired by the cute pears and my matching pictures.
I started with my three pictures in a row. The colorful wooden beams from the first picture inspired me to use the wonderful Gabby "Gingham & Bold Stripe" paper. So I cut the yellow, green, teal and mint stripe to 1 inch wide strips. I added them on the left side and used my nails to distress them a little bit. I cut the overlapping paper on the left side with scissors. Then I fussy cut the big pear from the Gabby journaling card. I glued the pictures over the strips on the left side and used 3 D glue dots there to add some dimension. I added the big pear on the right side under the picture on the top.
I added two miniwide paper clips in teal and mint on two pictures. These pictures have the teal and mint strips as their background and I wanted to add some more embellishments with the colors of the color transition. I also added Gabby Cardstock fringes in teal and mint behind the pictures. I searched for some matching die cuts and found the super cute scalloped borders from the wonderful Taylor collection. I used the scalloped borders in mustard, mint and the gingham design. They are matching perfectly to the Gabby colors, too. I glued them on the bottom of the two pictures below. I also added one of these super cute tags from the Taylor Die Cut Shapes under the right picture.
Then I used the amazing "Stripes & Pears" paper from the Gabby Kit and fussy cut many of these super cute little pears. I added them from the bottom on the left side to the right corner above. Aren´t they adorable!? I added the Gabby Die Cuts "Chapter 9", "I’m Worth It" and "You Are Stronger Than You Think" on the pictures. I also used some 3 D dots for the chapter 9 label. I added the numbers 1 to 3 on my pictures. Therefore I’ve used the wonderful small Puffy alphabet stickers in teal from the Gabby Kit. I also added the title "Love you" with these amazing alphabet stickers above the two Gabby labels.
At the end I splattered black ink across my page and added Henley & Tori epoxy dots in green and teal here and there. I also used some of them in mint and a darker green on my pictures. At the end I glued two little heart die cuts from the Taylor collection on paper strips with matching colors and the mint Katherine Essentials Label Sticker under the picture on the top. On this label sticker I added the year when the picture was taken with the FJ Roller Date Stamp. This is my favorite FJ tool. I use it on 99.9 % of my projects. Do you have one of them?
I hope you like my Mix-It layout. It was so much fun to work with all these FJ collections in fresh colors.
Have a wonderful start of the week! Until the next time.
xx Ulli
