I'm so excited to share this layout using the Sophie kit. The colors are so vibrant and are the perfect refreshing palette to start the new year. This is my first scrapbook layout of 2017 and I'm already so excited to see what the rest of my creative year holds!
I'm a white space kind of gal, so I rarely use a patterned paper as the background of my layout. This time, I branched out a bit and created a pocket using one of the neutral patterned papers from the kit. The pocket takes up the lower 1/3 of my page.
I wrote a little "love note" and slipped it in the pocket. Using the "Love Note" stamp from the stamp set, I created a little lip to tuck on the outside of the pocket.
I also used a few of the patterned papers to create a layered look behind my photo. I love pops of color!
