Hello Felicity Jane friends!
Today I want to share with you a very simple layout. It’s not a secret that I love minimal designs. So, this idea can be useful whether if you are afraid of 12x12 scrapbook layouts or if you have some leftover patterned paper.
First, I started editing my picture, just rotating it. So, when I printed it, I could put it that way. Then, I cut three pairs of squares, decreasing the size. The big ones are from the Krystal Tiny Florals & Hearts paper. The rest are from the Hope paper pack. I also machine stitched all of them. I placed my photo in the middle and glued all the squares to both sides. Once I had all the pieces together, I placed them slightly above the middle of the page.
Above my picture, I placed a little chipboard bit (I love chipboard bits!) matted with a tiny piece of paper also from the Hope collection. At the bottom of the picture, I glued one of the die cut shapes and the beautiful flower chipboard bit.
Let’s go to the title. Here I mixed the Puffy Alphabet Stickers with the Krystal, Taylor, and Katherine Stamp Sets. All the fonts are so beautiful, and they look very nice together. I used black ink for the words and the tiny hearts and green ink (matching the patterned paper) for the row of hearts.
Finally, I cut half an inch from each side and framed the page with the Tuxedo Stripes & Wood paper, sewing machine stitching all around it. And the final touch: some Tori Flexible Epoxy Dots. I love so much how it turned out.
I’m sure you’re going to adore the Krystal kit! It’s so pretty and inspiring! I can’t wait to create more projects with it. And I’m so looking forward to seeing what you create.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful week!
