Hey scrappers! Welcome back to the Felicity Jane Blog! I am so excited to share my latest scrapbook layout using elements from the Brie, Alexis, Reagan, Henley, Sophie and Brooke kits. Whoa that's a lot of kits! Did you know that Felicity Jane kits are designed to coordinate together? You can use a variety of elements from different FJ kits to create beautiful layouts with minimal effort.
I like the sound of that!
For this layout, I started with a white piece of textured cardstock. Next, I created a layered background using patterned paper from the Brie kit (Floral and Swiss Dot, Stripes and Bows).
To the layered background, I positioned a 4x6 black and white photo on the left side of the layout. Surrounding the photo are floral elements that I fussy cut from a scrap piece of the Floral and Chevron patterned paper from the Henley Kit. I layered the floral elements at the top left and bottom right of the layered background and photo.
To the top right of the layered background, I added a semi-circle element, cut from a Henley journaling card. The remaining part of the card was used as a space for journaling. Two puffy hearts from the Brie and Brooke kits were added to the circle for dimension and interest.
To the journaling card, I added a tag from the Brooke Die Cut Shapes pack, more fussy cut florals, and a Brie Chipboard Flair that reads "together". To finishing the journaling card, I stamped the sentiment "the little things" from the Sophie Stamp Set.
