Hi friends!
Are you all excited about the beautiful new Kate Kit? I can't wait to get my hands on mine! In the meantime I've been busy creating with more pretty things from the Summer Kit. Here's the layout I'm sharing with you today...
I started by printing my journaling directly onto my white cardstock background.
Then I used a variety of patterned papers to create my design across the page and added the black die cut frame behind my photo to help it pop off the page. A red grid strip was adhered across the top and I added some machine stitching for texture.
I embellished the page with a white tag and twine from by stash behind the photo, some die cuts from the kit and used an 'M' from the Summer Alphabet stickers for my title on the photo. The cute little rose gold paperclip was from last month's Willow Kit.
I also added a floral flair underneath my journaling with a circle of thread.
Some black paint splatters, date stamp and a journaling strip tucked under the left side of my photo finished off my page.
