Hi friends! Happy Friday! Anita here today to share with you my March monthly planner spread using the new Felicity Jane "Jane" kit. As soon as I saw sweet little Jane, I knew we would hit it off. Isn't she the cutest? And she has great style too! I wanted to prominently feature her in my projects this month so she got to take center stage in this month's planner spread.
This spread is fairly simple. I filled in some "special" dates this month and wanted to leave room for other activities and events that may come up towards the end of the month. Therefore, I kept my embellishing to a minimum and focused on placing most of my decorative elements around the outside of the spread. One of the first items (aside from Jane herself) I wanted to add was the banner of black cardstock hearts. They fit perfectly across the top left and were a great way to hide the numbers for the last few days in February that were included on this calendar.
Next up was giving Jane the stage and placing her in the space on the left side of this spread. I first lined the bottom of the calendar with the floral washi strips along with a branding strip from one of the patterned papers and then placed Jane on top. On this particular spread, the washi strips were not only great as a decorative border but also served a functional purpose by noting days my husband and I will be out of town this month.
The birds on the cut apart sticker sheet are absolutely adorable and I definitely wanted to include them in my project. I placed them on the bottom right hand side of the spread and added a word sticker as well.
Here's a look at each side of the spread. In addition to the embellishments listed previously, I also added a few from the cut-apart sticker sheet to note events and appointments.
I absolutely love the versatility of Felicity Jane kits and how there are so many projects you an create from one kit. It's so much fun to experiment and see how you can stretch your supplies for a variety of different purposes.
Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you have a great weekend. Happy planning!
