Hello! Mandy here with you today, and I have another traveler's notebook spread to share, featuring the gorgeous 'Summer' kit! Who else is obsessed with traveler's notebooks right now?! I love creating in mine, and I'm currently using one of my FJ inserts to document photos from our cruise that we took last year.
Here's the page that I created...
We visited the beautiful island of Mare on our cruise, and when we arrived on the island, we were greeted by some of the local people, who were singing and dancing. It was a really lovely welcome, and we had a wonderful day on the island!
I absolutely love the florals in this kit! They are seriously gorgeous! Of course I just had to fussy the ones from the floral patterned paper to use on my page, and I love how bright and vibrant they look!
I added my title to the left hand side of the spread using the 'London' chipboard alphabet stickers (which are available to purchase separately in the Felicity Jane shop). Underneath the title I stamped a row of dots using the stamp set from the 'Summer' kit. I love that this just adds a nice little detail to the page, and separates the title from the journaling. Up in the top left hand corner of the page I added a couple of little banners that I cut out of papers in the kit, and then I layered a die cut flower and a chipboard sticker on top. This little cluster adds a third point of interest on the spread, creating a visual triangle.
I covered the right hand side of the spread with the black and white dot patterned paper, and then added a striped branding strip down the inside edge of the page. I love that all of the patterned papers have something pretty printed on the branding strip, which makes them go even further!
I matted my photo with the coral grid patterned paper, as well as a piece of the aqua solid color paper. I also tucked a small piece of a scalloped branding strip under the bottom edge of the photo. Lastly I added another chipboard sticker to the bottom right hand corner of the photo.

After viewing all the inspiration from all the past months from the fabulous design team, I finally did this little journal!!! I LOVE it!! I tried not to think about it too much and used scraps and embellies from the past 3 months…..so cute!!! Thanks for the beautiful kits and great inspiration from the DT!
