Hey friends! Anita here today to share a layout I made using this month's Summer kit and subscriber cut file.
I love this arrow cut file so much! As soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted to use it for a layout. I was also really drawn to the chipboard stickers, especially the circles, and noticed there were nine arrows in the cut file and nine chipboard circles. Immediately an idea was born! I knew I wanted to put one circle in each arrow and wanted to pair it with a photo from Maui. The theme of the chipboard circles were a perfect match for our beach vacation photos and the colors were perfect too!
I cut the arrows on my Silhouette Cameo and made sure to resize the file to ensure I had enough room to house the circles. I then chose this gorgeous patterned paper as my background and laid the cut file on the left side so that the arrows would point to my photo. A vertical photo was the best choice for the space remaining on the right so I found and printed one from our last trip to Maui. Once the foundation of my page was set, I began embellishing with additional chipboard pieces and added my title to the top. As a last step, I typed and printed some journaling and added it underneath the photo. Below are close-ups of both the title and journaling.
All of the pieces in this month's kit (along with the subscriber cut file) came together so beautifully and I'm so happy with the final result. Here's another look at the entire layout:
