Hi friends! Anita here again to start out the week with a monthly planner spread using items from this month's Willow kit.
There are lots of items in this month's kit that are perfect for a planner spread. Washi tape strips are always welcome in my planner and I was excited to feature a couple of patterns on my spread this month to designate time away from home. May is turning out to be a busy month and I blocked off all of the days we are out of town using the washi strips. I also decided to use the fun puffy alphabet stickers to note our destinations. I usually don't like using dimensional stickers in my planner but the puffy stickers in this month's kit are super cute and not too thick. I also love seeing these big letters when I glance at the month. They add the perfect touch and create a nice visual that's clear and easy to see.
As always, the die cuts are another favorite in this month's kit. The tiny speech bubbles with the hearts inside were really cute and I thought they would be a fun way to designate some important dates this month.
I also used some of the word die cuts and couldn't complete this spread without featuring sweet Willow herself! The word die cuts helped to balance out the puffy letter stickers above and also helped to add some colorful decor to an area of the page that I wouldn't be using for anything else (since those days are part of the next month). Willow is just a fun, decorative addition to the spread and I absolutely love her! I also added a few of the puffy stickers from this month's kit around the spread and thought they added a nice finishing touch!
I hope this spread shows you the versatility of Felicity Jane kits. There are so many bits and pieces that are designed in such a way that they can be used on a variety of different projects. The same items I used here could easily be used on a layout or even pocket pages and I love that we have the flexibility to use the kit components in so many different ways.
