Hey crafty pals! I’ve been loving 6x12 layouts recently and decided the last bits of my Heidi kit would be perfect to create one!
I chose to do a little watercolor in the background and try to create a little bunch of flowers. I picked my colors based on the gorgeous striped paper in the kit and created a soft background of loose flower shapes.
After creating the background, this layout came together pretty quickly. I used some paper strips with torn edges to add texture, and embellished with hexagons from the die cuts and the wood veneer shapes.
I finished off the layout with a few light dot clusters around the hexagons. After taking these photos I actually ended up doing a couple sprinkles of gold as well for a little shine!
