We are starting off this week with two more team member spotlight.
First up is Laureen Wagener:
Q | What is your least favorite household chore?
A | Doing the dishes - when I was living on my own I didn't have a dishwasher and I just absolutely hate if there are things from the plate wabbling around the water touching your hands.
Q | What's your guilty pleasure?
A | Spending the weekend completely in pajamas, eating breakfast in bed, binge-watching TV.
Q | Favorite scrapbook/planner/crafty embellishment/product?
A | I LOVE chipboard, buttons and Thickers - I have a bin full of Thickers and they seem to double over night.
Q | What do you Netflix/binge watch?
A | Lately - The 100 again. Before that: Greys Anatomy, Gossip Girl, Sex and the City, Desperate Housewives. I love me some good TV shows.
Q | What about you might surprise us?
A | Like: SURPRISE!!! No kidding aside - I like weird food combinations - chocolate marshmallow and Nachos? Yes please
Q | What motivates you to create?
A | During chemo, that was what kept me going - the days were I was feeling good and able to sit up made me want to create and push through chemotherapy.
Q | When/why did you start memory keeping?
A | I finally started to craft again this March as an outlet to chemotherapy and being stuck in the hospital for weeks.
I just love to create a mess on my desk and get creative and to document my journey I've been through.
Q | What project best shows off your style?

Q | What is your least favorite household chore?
A | Do I have to choose only one… Can I say that it’s all my least favourite?? If I have to pick one, I’d probably say that cleaning the bathroom and toilet is my least favourite.
Q | What’s your guilty pleasure?
A | Chocolate is definitely my guilty pleasure! Especially Lindt chocolate!
Q | Favorite scrapbook/planner/crafty embellishment/product?
A | Ooh that’s tricky… Wood veneers and flair buttons are definitely two of my favourite embellishments. And I’m loving tassels at the moment too!
Q | What do you Netflix/binge watch?
A | I’d have to say that Gilmore Girls is definitely a show that I can binge watch! I’m so looking forward to the new episodes that are coming out!
Q | What about you might surprise us?
A | Hmm… Does it surprise you that I’m an accountant and have a Bachelor of Commerce?
Q | What motivates you to create?
A | Definitely the memory keeping… I love that my kids will have all these memories documented that they can look back on in years to come. But I also love the creative outlet that scrapbooking provides and I’m most definitely motivated by that as well.
Q | When/why did you start memory keeping?
A | I’ve been scrapbooking for nearly 12 years, since my oldest was a baby. It was my Mum who introduced me to it, and I was instantly hooked! We still love scrapbooking together, and now my 12 year old daughter joins us too when we have crafty days!
Q | What project best shows off your style?
