Hello all! Anne here with another layout made with my stash kit. Do you remember all the lovely things I put together a few weeks ago? I have had so much fun using my kit these last few weeks.
For this layout I started with a ripped piece of cardstock. My original idea was to build a quilt-inspired piece of paper and glue it at one side of my background cardstock. But I loved the white on white so much. Instead of paper I put together my title and cut out some tags to layer it under the ripped cardstock. Again, I made my title with some different material - this time a chipboard circle and the golden alphas. I love the black-gold contrast.
To create a little eye-catcher, I painted some black acrylic paint onto my cardstock and layered paper and my photo onto it. For some more dimension I also used crepe paper as a layer and I made an accent with some washi tape. I punched out a tab and stamped the phrase 'i love you' on it.
I decorated a tag with some of the pompom ribbon and put a silicone heart on the photo. Not much embellishment, everything quick and easy, but enough to give my photo the right frame.
I'm so excited to see the FJ August kit and hope you had fun with your mixed supplies during the time the shop was closed.
Anne
