Hi FJ friends!
Ulli here today with a TN spread made with the wonderful Annie Birthday collection.
I decided to make a birthday TN spread and I found a wonderful quote for it: "I’ll always remember this day for the miracle it birthed years ago." So I’ve searched for a birthday picture from last year from our little girl and for some new born pictures from the hospital.
I cut white Essentials cardstock to 8 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches two times. Then I also cut the Annie "Candy & Confetti" paper to this size. I used a number metal die and used my die cutting machine to punch out the number 6 of this paper in the upper third. Then I glued it on the white paper. I added the picture with a miniwide paper clip in mint on this page and stamped the date with the FJ roller date stamp over my picture. I decorated this picture with the sweet lemon die cut of the Annie Collection and the YAY circle die cut.
I wanted to add a vellum page over my right page with the newborn pictures and so I cut my vellum to 81/4 x 4 4/3 inches. I folded it with my folding tool at 4 1/4 inches and glued the fold under my second white piece of paper.
Then I added the double picture on the white cardstock under the vellum and decorated the page with the wonderful floral tag of the Annie Collection and the celebrate and heart die cuts. I also fussy cut many of the colorful confetti circles from the "Candy & Confetti Paper" and glued it from the left side of the bottom to the right side of the top of my page, also a little bit over my picture.
I added my journaling/quote (I’ll always remember this day for the miracle it birthed years ago) to the vellum with a black waterproof Sharpie and glued the second lemon die cut under it. I also added the year number with the adorable Confetti Puffy Stickers over it. They are too cute and probably some of my favorite things in this month's new release!
I really love the effect you get with a vellum paper between two pages. Have you ever tried this out?
At the end I also added some of the fussy cutting confetti on the other side to decorate the picture there. Then I glued the pages into my Jenny Traveler's Notebook where I keep wonderful memories of our daughter.
I hope you like my TN inspiration with some vellum paper and the sweet Annie collection. Have a wonderful week!
xx Ulli
