Hey FJ friends!
I am so happy to see you here. Today I am sharing a spread in my Felicity Jane travelers notebook. I decided to do this layout because I am missing my Mom so much and I can’t wait to see her in a few weeks. I thought the Mari collection was perfect for this.
I started with the Tiny Floral & Chevron patterned paper for my background for both sides of my spread. Next, I used the sketchy heart digital cut file available in the Felicity Jane shop. I backed those hearts with the Florals & Window Pane patterned paper. I have to say I love how the beautiful, bold pink florals popped against the black and white chevron pattern. I layered the hearts one above the other and adhered them to the right side of my traveler’s notebook.
On the right side, I clustered a die cut floral and frame from the Mari die cut pack. After adding the picture of my Mom and me, I popped on a black and white chipboard heart to the corner of my picture to complete my cluster.
Below my cluster, I added some typed journaling that I cut into strips. I inserted a cardstock tab behind my picture to notate the date the picture was taken.
To finish the layout I added in the lovely vellum butterflies and a few more chipboard hearts. What a fun and easy spread. Hope you enjoyed today’s project.
