Hello friends! It’s Victoria and I am back with another layout for the Felicity Jane Creative Media Team using the gorgeous October Mila kit! Today, we are going to chat about stamping. Felicity Jane scrapbooking kits feature some of the best stamps on the market, perfect for sentiments, creating backgrounds and titles, and adding just a touch of interest to any project.
I like to use stamps frequently on my scrapbook layouts to make fun titles. Using stamps in this way adds a ton of interest to any scrapbook layout and gives you the opportunity to play with scale, size, and different font styles. Some of my favorite stamp title techniques include:
- Mixing stamp sentiments and letter fonts with letter stickers
- Stamping key words or phrases to add emphasis to a title
- Using different stamp font sizes and styles to creating interesting titles
For this layout, I used the Felicity Jane Mila stamp set (included with the kit), and the Basics Lowercase stamp set along with the rose gold Leatherette font stickers to create the title “The Best Part of Mom Life”. The leatherette font stickers add emphasis to the word “mom” while the stamped phrases bring the title together.
I finished the layout by creating small clusters of layered embellishments, all centered around the custom title. Bands of pattern paper and washi tape add a bit of subtle color to this simple and clean layout.
I hope these simple techniques will inspire you to create fun and interesting stamped titles. Give it a shot and share your layout on the Felicity Jane Subscribers Facebook Group page. We would love to see what you create! Thanks for stopping by!
