Hi FJ friends,
It's Ulli here with you today sharing a new layout with the gorgeous new Denise collection. This collection is so cute! The colors are so perfect for summer and its amazing stamp set is perfect for daughter + sister themed projects. When I saw the amazing new charms from the Denise collection I wanted to make a layout with a banner. The idea was to use more than one of those adorable charms with the gold border and to hang them on a ribbon.
I searched for a photo from myself and our daughter, because I wanted to use the daughter stamp from the Denise stamp set absolutely. I punched it out in a circle shape and punched a hole in it to hang it on the banner too. Then I trim my Cardstock on the size 8.5 x 11 inch. I fussy cut one of those beautiful flowers from the floral paper from the new kit. I used my die cutting machine and used the Megan Metal Dies to cut out the lovely shapes and glued them together. I love the dimensional look so much. I often make banner layouts, but this time I made a upright banner, from the top to the bottom of my layout.
I punched two holes (above and below) in one line in my 8.5x11 paper, Then I used light grey eyelets and fixed them there. I used white thin ribbon and thread it through the hole. I fixed it on the backside with some Washi tape and began to thread two of those charms on it. Then I run the photo on the ribbon and glued it with 3 D glue dots on the layout.
I searched for more embellishments to hang it on the ribbon and found some things from previous FJ kits. So I have used also the wooden shapes from the Henley collection, a tassel from the Joy kit, , the Zoey Mini Tags and the striped button from the Autumn collection. I used a third charm and one of those small and adorable Die Cut flowers from the Denise collection. I always leave some space between the embellishments to have some space to glue some of the super cute Denise Puffy Stickers between.
Then I glued the fussy cut flower under my photo and made my title with the mint Denise Puffy Alphabet and the Lovely Die Cut word.
I typed my journaling down and printed it on vellum. I cut in smaller and glued it in the right edge on the bottom. I fixed it with a mini stapler and glued the wonderful Puffy flower from the Denise Puffy Stickers under it.
I stamped the „daughter“ and the „So grateful for you“ stamps on white Cardstock and fussy cut them. I glued them with 3 D glued dots on the ribbon. Two of the puffy banners I added also on the banner. I stamped the date with the FJ date roller stamp over my journaling. I added some of the wonderful little Die Cut Shapes on my layout - I especially love the adorable bow! To finish off my layout I splattered gold and black ink across the page added some little puffy hearts and wooden hearts here and there. I also used the lovely little Puffy butterfly to decorate my photo.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I can’t wait to see what you will do with those wonderful little charms and the pretty Denise collection!
xo, Ulli
