Hello everyone, it’s Lindsey! I’ve recently been missing the process of working in a traveler’s notebook for memory keeping so I decided to start an A5 sized notebook to document things about me. I’m always documenting the milestones and moments of my boys but I wanted to start documenting the small moments that I’m proud of...like being accepted as a Creative Team member! You can find the process video for this layout out the end of this post.
I find myself hoarding my favorite Felicity Jane papers so I’m looking forward to working in a project where I can start using some of my favorites, like the floral paper from the Rebekah Collection! I also chose a branding strip and a simple black and white pattern for the base of this page.
I used one of the 6x6 papers from the Rebekah Collection to layer behind this photo of the Creative Team. I wanted to keep the paper layering pretty simple since the floral paper is pretty bold.
I might deconstruct this notebook in the future and turn it into a ring bound album but for now I’m going to keep the embellishments simple so it doesn’t get too chunky. These rubber tiny tags pair really well with the mini paper clips! (TIP: add a little adhesive on the back of the tag to keep it from flopping around on your page.)
These chipboard ampersands from the Amber Collection are a staple for me! I love adding different colored embossing powders to them so that they can match whatever project I’m working on.
For the title, I used a mix of the puffy word stickers, the gold embossed ampersand, and some gold foiled alphas.
I kept the opposite page pretty simple as well. I have tons of journaling cards in my stash so I took this as an opportunity to layer a couple of them after typing out my journaling. A few die cut shapes and a puffy word sticker complete the layout!
