Hi everyone!
It's Sheree here with a new sketch challenge for you! The design I've come up with this month features a circular photo suspended down the middle of the page. Let's take a look...
I decided to use the sketch to create a page for my 2022 December album. Here's how it turned out...
I stuck fairly close to the sketch design for my mini layout. since it will be going into my album this page is 7 inches x 8.25 inches. I punched my photo out with a 3.5 inch circle punch, then used the same punch to cut part of a circle from the Ivy Grid paper. I positioned it over the circle photo, made some stitching holes using a paper piercer and hand stitched around the patterned paper piece. I backed the photo with a white cardstock circle slightly bigger than the photo, punched a hole at the top and added twine before adhering it to the top half of the page. I then pierced more stitching holes and hand stitched a circular border around the outside.
I used the “merry” gold foil puffy title sticker from the Noel Kit for the title and typed the name of the plant “Christmas Bush” to place underneath. To decorate, I fussy-cut some flowers and stems from the Ivy Floral paper and placed them on each side of the circle.
My journaling was printed, stitched and positioned underneath with twine running down behind and the number “7” was positioned at the bottom of the twine. (At this stage it will be day 7 in my album but I’ll be free to change the number if needed.) I also added some gold foil dots on each side of the journaling. To finish off I added the red spotty branding strips from two Ivy Grid papers down each side and added more stitching.

I'm always excited to see what our other creative team members have created with the sketch! Each and every project turns out so differently with their own unique take on the design. First let's see the pretty creation Elena Martinelli has come up with...
Hi FJ friends, how are you?
Also this month Sheree created a really wonderful sketch for the challenge!
I tried to reinterpret it starting from a different format, and for this I chose the TN by dividing the circle which is the focus of our project, exactly in the middle between the two pages.
Ivy is such a rich collection of embellishments that it's really hard to choose! One more beautiful than the other.
Around my circle I used a Chipboard Frames and Gold Foil Puffy Word Stickers to create my title and near it I cropped some flowers and I finished with some Chipboard Star Stickers and Flexible Epoxy Dot.
Finally I decorated my pages with two different washi tapes (striped and numbers).
I hope my project inspires you and I can't wait to see yours with the Ivy collection!

Karlla Dauer has also created a beautiful project with the sketch. Here she is to share it with us...
For this layout, I created an ornate grab on the top with a paper patchwork. I love this effect! For the embellishments, I brought the Ivy Christmas Tree mini stamp. I hope you like it and enjoy the beautiful stamps in the collection.

Next we have a gorgeous project from Valeska Guimaraes...
Hello FJ friends,
Let's get inspired by Sheree and her beautiful sketch. I was inspired by her drawing in many ways but I wanted to do my project in my 6x8 album and so I divided the design into two pages.
The middle circle became two half circles of pictures between the two pages. The strips of paper on the side got a little more texture, since I tore the edges of the paper and rolled them up a little. I used elements around the half circles, as well as another frame circle from the Ivy collection where I put my gold foil word sticker title. I cut out flowers from the floral paper, made my journaling in a circular tab and complemented it with die cuts shapes and chipboard stars.
Hope you get inspired and create with us.

Finally, we have a fabulous page by Ulrike Dold. Here she is to tell us all about it...
Last month I did not managed to do the FJ sketch and I was a little bit sad about it. So I had to do the October Sketch from Sheree again after a little sketch break and it was so much fun. I’ve decided to make a page for my2021 December album and I made a page about our favorite Christmas cookies: "Zimtsterne" (Cinnamon Stars).
First I cut Essentials White Cardstock to 7 x 8 1/4 inches. Then I’ve used the cute striped Ivy Washi Tape to make the stripes on the left and the right side of the page. I punched the 6 holes into the page, then I used a big picture and cut the picture into a circle of about 4.5 inches wide. I used the Ivy "Cane & Grid" paper and made another circle a little bit bigger than the picture and glued the picture on it. Then I made a hole into the top and set a pink eyelet into my picture. I used black bakers twine and fixed it on the back of my picture with washi tape.
I fixed also another piece of black twine on the bottom of my circle photo - of course also on the back. I glued the picture on my page and fixed the washi tape on the back of the 7x 8 1/4 Inch page. Of course on the back of my page too. Then I added an Ivy label in pink from the Ivy Lilbrary Pockets & Labels and glued the word confetti "Holiday Baking" on it. I glued the title with the Ivy Mini Puffy Stickers under the label.
I’ve added the Ivy die cut cake on the border of my picture on the bottom and glued the chipboard number "2" on it. I cut the Ivy journaling card with the labels into 5 pieces and used the baby blue label to add my journaling on it by hand. Then I’ve added it with 3D dots on my page. At the end I’ve stamped little stars from the Ivy Stamp Set here and there, added some Ivy Epoxy Dots and glued the Ivy die cut heart and star on the picture and on the cake. I really love the simplicity of the page with the big cookie picture.
I hope I could inspire you with my sketch version to add the sketch into your December album too.
