"Oh Baby" Layout | Desiree Lamar

Hello lovely friends! Today I am sharing a sweet layout of my daughter and new little nephew. I used the soft and sweet Margot collection to record this sweet memory. This collection is beautiful but it amazed me, even more, to see how well the colors complemented each other once I started creating.

To get started, I selected my patterned papers from the Margot 12x12 paper pack. I used the notebook patterned paper for my background paper. Then, I cut squares from the honeycomb paper and the daisy paper. I made sure one square was slightly larger than the other. I could not resist fussy cutting some of the large, blush-colored florals from the floral patterned paper.

Next, I layered my squares diagonally on top of each other onto the notebook patterned paper. I placed a small cluster at the top left of my diamond and a large cluster at the bottom right. For both clusters, I used fussy cut florals and fussy cut elements from the new cut-a-part sheets.

I completed my layout by adding the “oh baby” title with the multi-colored Margot letters. I also added a few green splatters to match the layout.

I hope you enjoyed this layout today. It definitely is one of my all time favorites. Thank you for stopping by.
