Hi friends, Evelyn here with you today to share this layout that I created using the super cute Felicity Jane cross stitch deer cut file along with all the beautiful supplies from the November and December kits. And yes, you might have already noticed that I have reused the name of the Oh Deer! kit as the title of my layout. It is the perfect match for my photo especially with Next Stop Chipboard alphas which are by the way my favorite Felicity Jane alphas EVER.
I have put together the deer border in my Silhouette Studio software and printed it directly on the 8.5"x11" cardstock in a light grey color. Then I poked holes all across the deer heards and cross stitched using brown embroidery floss. The Silhouette pen holder tool is definitely on my Christmas wishlist this year for some more stitching projects.
I kept this layout really simple because I wanted the focus on the stitched deer heads and my photo. For the journaling I did some handwriting on the back of my layout.
Have fun crafting, guys! And a happy Saint Nicholas Day to those of you who are celebrating!
