OMG! Layout | Anne Keller

Hi everyone! Anne here with my very first blog post for Felicity Jane. How exciting. It's such an honor for me to be in this team.

So for my first layout for Felicity Jane I had to use the announcement photo. So here we go...

If you know my work, you know that I love layering. I chose some papers from the kit and printed the heart pattern from the digital kit on vellum. Then I arranged everything behind my picture. The word and frame die cuts were perfect as some sort of tabs. After that I added the 'hello' washi shape on the photo.

I used a border punch to prepare the first layer of my next element. I saw a how-to for these little bags on instagram a few days ago and it inspired me to try it with some of the printed vellum and PP as background. I love it, such a unique and versatile element to hold some ephemera or your journaling. On top I added my title and a washi flower. 'Omg!' was all I could say when I received the mail from Jeana.

My third point on this layout is on the top. I ripped the cardstock and glued a border strip behind it. That's one of the things I do very often on my layouts. Then I decorated it with a wood veneer, an epoxy dot and the stamp 'grow'. I'm sure I'll learn a lot while I'm on this team.

To finish the whole page I 'framed' it on two sides with the cardstock that came in the paper pack and did some decorating stitching.

Thank you for joining me here and see you soon with my second layout with the lovely Henley!
