Hello there again, sweet friends! I hope you all had an amazing Memorial weekend spent with your families. I certainly hope you had as beautiful weather as we have had! Today I’m sharing a look at a pocket page I created using the amazing Hope collection.
I’ve been having such a blast with this collection, and the subtle pastel colors make it so versatile. For this pocket page spread in my TN book, I chose the pinks and yellows to highlight from the collection. I chose 4 pretty papers from the paper pack, and I cut them to 3x4 size.
Next I started adding in some dimension and character to my pretty little paper cards. I added in some of the amazing die-cut pieces to my cards. I then added in my title with the stamp set and the great pink puffy alphas. The pair were perfectly suited for this title, “On the Bright Side.”
I layered up on the mini file folders onto one of my cards, so that I would have a pretty place to hide all my journaling. This is great when you plan to hand write a bunch of journaling. I’m not a huge fan of my handwriting, so I choose to hide in on my memory keeping projects when I can.
To give my photo a little more interest, I layered on some of the great photo corners from last year’s Noel collection. These really are so fantastic for pocket pages, because they help your photos really pop in its pocket. I chose gold because I think it really brings out all the yellows in this spread.
For my last card I popped up one of the die-cut phrase pieces. I then tied on some golden string to bring in even more gold. I think gold is most definitely one of my neutral colors in creating, so I love to add it wherever I can.
It’s really as simple and oh so fun as that. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I hope you leave feeling inspired.
