Hello sweet friends! Andrea here and I am sharing a Traveler's Notebook layout that is inspired by 4 words. I have had this quote (open heart. with backbone.) saved for months and the Reagan kit seemed like a wonderful kit to use to finally get this documented.
I used my typewriter to make the quote on the same paper as my TN paper instead of the color the original quote was on. Then I used the color blocked frame on top of it and layered the open hearts cluster (which was PERFECT) and a floral below it. The cluster of epoxy + signs just makes my heart happy!
The story behind this page is simply that I have learned having an open heart doesn't mean I am weak - it actually makes me a lot stronger. This is something that didn't really occur to me until I ran across this quote.
I took the journaling across both pages to achieve some balance in the design.
On the right side I have matted a photo with the dark orange solid paper and clustered a few die cuts, my initial and the round polka dot piece that comes in the Felicity Jane embellishment jars! I keep those and use them because POLKA DOTS!
Overall this layout helped me get out some thoughts and using the gorgeous Reagan kit made it some much prettier than the topic really is. I hope you've enjoyed seeing a bit of my open heart and how I documented it.
See you soon!
