Our Happy Place Pocket Page Spread | Sheree Forcier
Hi Everyone!
Do you scrap pocket pages? What I love about them is that it’s such as easy, fun way to record those everyday moments that you wouldn’t necessarily create a layout about. The spread I’m sharing today using the Denise Kit, is a snapshot of a day in April when I just walked around the house and took a quick photo of what everyone was up to at the time.
With my photos and text printed, I then selected three journaling cards from the Denise Kit and a yellow card from the Megan Kit as the base of my spread.
The “Our Happy Place” card became the title of the spread. I added some machine stitching to each word, then stamped the date underneath using the FJ Roller Date Stamp. For the photo to the right I added a trimmed die cut label, the ‘funny’ word label and an ‘R’ from the Denise Puffy Alphabet which is Riley’s initial. A little machine stitching was added too.
For the bottom-left photo I added an ‘A’ puffy alphabet sticker to a white tag from my stash, added a little black puffy star and some stitching, then attached it to the photo using a gold miniwide paper clip. For the yellow card I added a Brie die cut heart, then layered a Denise Kit floral on top with some thin foam dots for dimension.
For the pink card on the second page of the spread, I layered a Denise Kit die cut tag, label and floral with two puffy stickers. Twine was attached to the top of the tag and I added some machine stitching to finish it off. An ‘M’ and a little heart sticker were adhered to the corner of the photo to the right.
The last photo included a heart die cut piece and a ‘P’ puffy alphabet sticker. The printed journaling was backed with the diagonal blue striped card, then I stitched a border and the Brie Kit Chipboard Flair was adhered to the top.
