Our Tradition Layout with Lindsey collection | Ulrike Dold

Hi friends!

Ulli here with you today to share a layout with the wonderful Felicity Jane Lindsey collection. When I saw the bright and wonderful colors of the Lindsey collection I knew I would finally use this photo from the flower bouquet from our 5th wedding anniversary in June 2018. On our 1st wedding anniversary in the year 2014 we’ve started with our own tradition: Every year my husband brings me flowers. But not any flowers… I always get my bridal bouquet and I love this tradition so much! It always helps me to remind me of our perfect and beautiful wedding day! Do you have some traditions that you’ve made yourself?

For this layout I used white cardstock and a flower cut file. I cut the flower with my Silhouette Cameo and backed it with the FJ Lindsey solid papers in blush, pink and mint. They are always perfect for it because the colors matches perfectly to the patterned papers. It´s always a lot of work to do this, but it´s worth it! Then I layered my photo with the Squiggles & Squares papers and the Jill polka dot vellum. I fussy cut the border of the Squiggles paper for it and I love the scalloped look of it! Then I used my stapler to fix the photo on the papers and glued the big flower under the photo.

I cut a thin stripe from the Stripes & Hearts paper and glued it on the top of my layout. Polka heart paper is always one of my favorites and so I had to use it for this layout too. I glued the scalloped Foam sticker on it and fixed it with my mini stapler. Then I glued my title on the layout. I used the gorgeous Lindsey Chipboard Alphabet Stickers and the Essential Puffy Alphabet in white and glued it on and above the flower. I used the little yellow heart charm from the Lindsey kit to make a dot on an i. First I wanted to use the cute tag with the big heart to add my journaling on my layout, but then I decided to use it only for another eye catcher. So I wrapped black bakers twin  around the square cut on the top of it and glued it with 3 D glue dots and a yellow tab on the bottom of the flower.

Our Tradition Layout with Lindsey collection 3 | Ulrike Dold | Felicity JaneI used the wonderful and high quality Linsey Metal Die to punch out the love lettering and glued it on the top of the photo. I also stamped the cute flower from the Lindsey stamp set on white cardstock and used the flower metal die to punch it out. Then I glued it under my picture. I fixed one of these super cute mini wide paper clips in white on my photo and decorated it with the foam heart and some die cut shapes. I also had to use the pretty Epoxy Heart in pink. The color is just perfect! You know me… I really love the color pink. I stamped the word „June“ with the adorable and versatile FJ Scripty Months Stamp Set beside my photo and used puffy alphabets from the Zoey and from the Lola collections tp add the date of our wedding anniversary on the picture.

Then I stamped the cute little heart from the Lindsey stamp set here and there and the „xoxoxo“ stamp on the flower. For bring the date a second time on my page I used the FJ Date Roller Stamp and stamped June 1 with the year date over my picture. Then I wrote my journaling by my hand under the big paper flower and used the scalloped Felicity Jane Ruler to underline my text afterwards.

To finish off my page I splattered black and gold paint across the page and used the Confetti Hearts from the Lindsey Die Cut Shapes, more Lindsey Epoxy Hearts and Charms and the Brooke Puffy Stickers to decorate my layout. I also used the Lindsey Die Set for small hearts and glued some of them on my page. I had so much fun to create this layout and maybe I could inspire you to scrap your own tradition with this gorgeous collection too - or maybe some pretty flowers. ;-)

Have fun with this beautiful papers and embellishments and the bright colors! Thank you for stopping by today. Until the next time.
