Hello Felicity friends! This week we are featuring patterns on the FJ Inspiration page, and my layout highlights the patterned papers in the Jeana Kit. I punched hearts from almost all of the patterns, and decided to tumble them down the page in a diagonal.
Once again, I love the fact that all the Felicity Jane papers come with a color pattern on one side and a black and white on the flip side. I punched all the larger hearts from the black and white patterns, and all the smaller hearts in the color patterns layered over them.
You might be able to see how I used the Alexis Kit stencil with gesso and art crayons on the background of this page. I layered the gesso through the stencil, then once it dried, added the art crayons over it in colors that coordinated with the patterns of each heart. I stitched down the center of each heart after adding three of the Jeana Chipboard Hearts over top of three of the hearts.
I used different kinds of foam adhesive to layer up the hearts and photo at different levels. I thought there was enough color on the page, so I layered black and white journal cards under the photo. They tie in with the black and white layered hearts.
At the top right of the page, the title was made with the puffy stickers from the Jeana Kit, and the kit stamp, layered with another punched heart and a gold heart clip. I repeated the metallic gold with a chipboard heart, and another gold heart paper clip for a total of three gold objects. This symbolizes my three kids, and I often use three of one product for this reason. Handwritten journaling and a dated label complete the layout.
