Photo Fun | Sheree Forcier

Hello everyone!  I'm so happy to be back on the blog today to share another layout that I've created with the gorgeous London kit.  I'm having so much fun playing with these beautiful goodies!

This photo makes me giggle!  Madi and her friends love taking selfies and these photo props were so fun and perfect for her recent birthday party! 

To create the background for my page I cut the solid green paper to 12 x 12 making sure I still had the pretty scalloped edge on one side.  I then trimmed my cardstock down so that I had a nice green border and added a strip of the yellow grid and the black and white linen patterned papers down the right side.

I stitched a border around the inside and outside of the cardstock, then added some black watercolour splatters diagonally across the page.

Next I layered some yellow grid, green floral, black and white linen, and some pink journaling card behind the photo, tucked a striped tag from the cut-apart sheet in behind then stitched it all into place.  In the top left corner of the photo I added a pretty gingham heart and word circle also from the cut-apart sheet then attached some twine to the tag and stapled it into place.

I used the London chipboard alphas for my title then printed some strip journaling (using my favourite Traveling_Typewriter font) and adhered them underneath the photo.

I couldn't resist adding a little stamping to my page as well!  I used the "HAPPY" word from the London stamps and a sweet little heart from the Felicity Jane Note To Self stamp set too.  I just love how crisp the images turn out!

I popped a pretty pink heart in amongst my splatters and stamping, stapled a folded label in the top right hand corner then added the date and my page was done!
