Hello FJ Friends!
One of the many wonderful things about Felicity Jane kits is how easy it is to mix and match them together. Today’s project that I have to share with you features items from five different kits…Amanda, Grace, Katherine, Elizabeth and Brie!
For the first two pockets on the first page of my pocket page spread, I used a pretty yellow gingham Brie journaling card. (These can be printed using the Brie Digital Kit available in the shop.) I added the Elizabeth chipboard sun, the Amanda chipboard ‘summer’ word, a phrase that I printed with my computer, then lots of machine stitching for texture. The photo I left just as it was.
At the bottom of this page is another photo. To the right is a pretty striped journaling card from the Elizabeth Kit. For this card I used the Amanda stamp set to stamp phrases onto white cardstock, cut them out then adhered one phrase per stripe. Stitching was then added to each stamped phrase.
At the top of the second page there is another photo and the journaling about the day. I printed the journaling onto white cardstock then cut the blue top from another Brie journaling card and adhered it at the top before adding the stitching.
There’s a 4 x 6 section at the bottom of this page. I used some pink paper from the Grace Kit for the background and added a stitched border. I cut my photo into a polaroid style and added a miniwide paper clip at the top. I stamped another phrase from the Amanda Kit onto white cardstock then cut it out and added it to the bottom section of the photo.
To the left of the photo I stitched around two tags before layering them together. One tag was from the Katherine Kit and one from the Grace Kit. I added twine to the bottom one then wound the twine around the end of the first tag then onto the second tag and tied a bow. The tags were tucked under the left side of the photo along with a label sticker. I added a phrase that I printed myself, a die cut flower and stapled an embroidered heart to finish it off.
Since I had a couple of scenic photos from the day I decided to crop them to 3 x 8 inches and add them to the middle of the spread using a 3 x 8 page protector. I added a printed phrase to a Grace Designer Cardstock Tab then attached it to the top right of the page protector. I love that these tabs already have their own adhesive which made it super easy to use.
To finish it off I added a heart die cut to the top of the second photo and that was it!
I love how this spread came together so easily using bits and pieces from so many different kits!
You can watch how I put this spread together in the process video below...
I hope I’ve inspired you do dig into your older kits to see what you can put together with the newer ones too? It’s so much fun rediscovering pretty things to use!
Thank you so much for visiting the blog today!
