Hello everyone, it’s Lindsey! On Mondays the team tries to create projects that use a mix of past and current collections so that’s what I’m doing today. I thought this would be a good opportunity to play a little catch up with my weekly album since my photos didn’t really match the Hope Collection perfectly so I was able to mix in some other kits. Be sure to catch the process video at the end of the post to see this layout in more detail.
Oh how I miss our “Sunday Selfies” as we head out the door to church! For this card I started with the Lola Gingham 6x6 paper and backed it with the Hope pink paper. I used the Reagan Stamps and Dies (a fave of mine!) to create the title and embellished with an Elizabeth scallop sticker and some Sarah epoxy dots.
My boys had won an academic award at their school so I was sure to journal about that on a Grace journaling card. The “Good Moments” is from the Hope die cuts and the little heart is from the Sarah die cuts. I added a couple staples for some extra texture.
My husband had to have a quick medical procedure and I wanted to keep my journaling a little more private for this one. I started with a Hope journaling card that I embellished with a label, a Jenny word sticker, a miniwide paperclip. This card is adhered with some washi to the outside of the pocket page. I’ll type my journaling on that super cute Bailey journaling card and stick it in the pocket that way it’s hidden behind the flip up card.
I’ve been trying to take some photos along the way as I’m on the journey to get healthy and lose some weight. The base of this card is the number paper from the Hope collection. I then added the “yay” from the Jenny word stickers, a Zoey chipboard number (I turned the 9 into a 6 since I liked that print for this layout), and a variety of alphabet stickers.
I’m slightly obsessed with that floral paper from the Hope collection so I kept my weekly card pretty minimal. I white embossed some large number stamps from my stash onto the darker pink paper from the Hope collection and paired them with the Tiny Dot alphas.
I didn’t realize just how many different collections I had used until I started assembling the links LOL. I love mixing and matching current and past collections from Felicity Jane! I like to keep the papers, cards, and alphas stored by color so it’s easier to piece together a project like this where I want to use specific colors.
Don’t forget to check out the process video below for more details on how this layout came together!
Until next time!
